Our Story

It all started with a simple question: How can we develop a platform that drives revenue and increased profits while filling a consumer need? We knew if we could achieve this, it would be a win for consumers, a win for us, but most importantly, a win for our merchants.

 

With this vision in mind, we embarked on a journey of extensive research, exploring different verticals, products, services, and business models. Our goal was to identify a unique opportunity that would allow us to stand out in the market. After several months of in-depth analysis, we began to focus on providing VIP services.

 

The concept of VIP services intrigued us. We delved into research to uncover the percentage of consumers willing to pay more for VIP status. We looked at industries where upgrades for a fee are common, such as business and first-class seats on airlines, premium seating in stadiums for sports and entertainment, and other luxury experiences.  We found that an astounding 61% of US consumers are willing to pay more.

 

The next step was to determine just how much more, percentage-wise, consumers were willing to pay for these upgrades. The data we uncovered was shocking.  It led us to question: Why isn’t every business in the world offering premium options alongside their standard products? How much potential revenue was left on the table?  The answer to the first question is they either don’t realize its possible, or they don’t know how to implement it.  The answer to the second question is upwards of 50- 60%.

 

With this insight, we knew we had a winning concept. We put our heads down and started developing the platform. Over the next several months, we spent countless hours talking to vendors, vetting partners, and assembling the perfect team for this project. One year and four months later, ExpressX came to fruition.
